1. Team Roster Structure
- Each team may retain up to 8 players from the previous season.
- No more than 8 players may return each season.
- Teams may sign up to 8 players to two-season agreements (including returning players and newly signed players).
- If a team has fewer than 8 retained players, they may:
- Sign free agent players, including those with prior TEBA experience.
- Scout and recruit new Thai players through team-hosted tryouts in Thailand.
- Sign new import players as needed per league rules.
- Excess players above the 8-player, two-season contract limit must be waived before the season begins.
2. Draft Format
- The TEBA League Draft will consist of 48 total draft picks per year.
- Each of the 12 teams will receive 4 draft selections:
- 2 selections in Round 1
- 2 selections in Round 2
- The draft prospect pool will include:
- Thai players
- Expat players (local imports)
- Import players (primarily derived from team tryouts)
3. Import Player Tryouts & Nomination Rights
- Each team may nominate up to 10 import players from their official tryouts.
- From the 10 nominated players, teams may reserve the rights to 2 import players.

4. Contract Terms
- Core Thai Players: Teams may sign their 8 core Thai players to two-season contracts.
- First Round Draft Picks: Automatically eligible for mandatory two-season contracts.
- Second Round Draft Picks:
- May be signed to a one-season contract initially.
- Eligible for a two-season extension after completion of the first year.
- Limit: No more than 8 total players per team may be under two-season agreements at any given time.

6. Draft Period Restrictions
- During the draft period:
- Teams are prohibited from discussing salary with draft prospects.
- Teams may only speak to players about the potential of being drafted—not about compensation or contracts.
- No team may offer a contract to any draft entrant prior to the draft.
- Violations will result in a $200 fine per infraction.
7. Roster Finalization, Waiver & Trade Window
- A 5-day waiver and trade window will open prior to the season kickoff.
- During this window, teams may:
- Waive or trade players.
- Finalize their active rosters.
- Teams must update both the player roster document and player status during this period.
- Failure to update both will result in a $100 fine per infraction.
8. Contract Submission Requirements
- All signed player contracts (retained, drafted, nominated, and free agents) must be:
- Uploaded to the designated team folder within 24 hours of signing.
- Failure to upload within the required timeframe will render the contract void.
