TEBA League Rules Hub
This page serves as a central hub where you can reference and find all TEBA League rules. Please note that certain dates, such as the deadlines for trading and waiving players, may vary. However, a reliable benchmark is the All-Star Game—once that event has passed, the deadline is generally over.
Player Categories:
– Expats: Players legally allowed to live in Thailand without any involvement from the team. They must have the proper legal documentation, such as a work or student visa.
– Imports: Players who are non-Thai citizens and reside in other countries. Any player without a Thai passport or legal resident status in Thailand is considered an import.
Important Deadlines:
– October 1st: This is the deadline for teams to finalize player statuses and update the Excel sheets with accurate player information. All expat and import statuses must be confirmed and submitted by this date to ensure compliance with league regulations.
– Blackout Month: August will always be designated as the blackout month due to the draft and draft combine activities. No player transactions or activities involving new signings are allowed during this period.
